Family stories are essential to our sense of belonging. Where we played when we were kids . . . embarrassing events . . . how we processed a difficult change. Too often, when a loved one passes on, those stories get muted, eventually never told again. Local Liberty Laker Kim Girard started a writing group so that folks of all ages, interests, and skill levels can come together to start documenting their stories.

At Rooted Sonshine, we believe that joy isn’t something to be reserved for personal moments alone—it should be found in both our everyday lives and the work we do.
Let's reimagine what it means to do work, how we do it, and why so that it also cultivates joy.
