Rooted Sonshine WINS the Greater Good Award

Rooted Sonshine puts people before profit by being generous and supportive, showing respect and gratitude, looking for ways to grow and learn, and leading with integrity. And we have been successful because of, and not in spite of, this approach. Whether we're promoting events, writing curriculum, or analyzing data, Rooted Sonshine is intentional in bringing people together.
When I founded Rooted Sonshine, I didn't know what to expect. But I knew I could help. To be recognized by We Are Rosie for doing good is validation that there is more good work for me to do.
The online-based cycling event started Nov 29th and challenged folks to set mileage and fund-raising goals to support Cycling On Purpose's mission of raising awareness of the youth mental health crisis and providing resources to aid in prevention of and dealing with mental health challenges. Continue to follow and support Cycling on Purpose as Travis, its founder, trains for the Resilience Ride, a 2100+ mile bike ride from Liberty Lake to Indianapolis.
Hearing about things that have happened elsewhere can spark ideas about what you can implement locally. Rooted Sonshine posts these in our "Inspiration" posts.
