Local Events
Rooted Sonshine wants to be the hub that keeps our community connected by promoting real life events. Check back every month for who, what, and where fills your cup.
I have been working to make this calendar as hyper local to Liberty Lake as possible because we have so much to offer right here.
If you want us to feature an event or organization connecting people, let us know!

Hearing about things that have happened elsewhere can spark ideas about what you can implement locally.
"Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever’s Conservation Education was developed to grow an informed public that appreciates and supports wildlife habitat conservation and the benefits it provides to clean water, clean air, soil protection and a healthy environment to live in. Explore the features of our program below."
"Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever’s Milkweed in the Classroom Program is a turn-key habitat education program for the classroom. Program support includes all the materials to grow native plants in the classroom (seed, soil, planting containers, grow light), on-line training on how to grow native plants in the classroom, and curriculum that meets all national science standards. The results of this program not only benefit pollinators by providing quality foraging and nesting habitat, but also provide opportunities for youth to get outside and gain an appreciation for wildlife and conservation."
"In 2013, Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever created the Pollinator Habitat Outreach Program to educate a future generation of conservationists about the importance of our habitat mission. With the realization that good pheasant and quail habitat is also good pollinator habitat, we worked with our chapters to create youth pollinator habitat projects in their communities."
"Pollinator Habitat Program will provide financial assistance and training for PF/QF chapters to engage youth, families and local communities in establishing pollinator habitat projects. The objectives of this program are to educate youth on the importance of pollinators and pollinator habitat as well as establish quality pollinator habitat projects."
