Local Events
Rooted Sonshine wants to be the hub that keeps our community connected by promoting real life events. Check back every month for who, what, and where fills your cup.
I have been working to make this calendar as hyper local to Liberty Lake as possible because we have so much to offer right here.
If you want us to feature an event or organization connecting people, let us know!

Hearing about things that have happened elsewhere can spark ideas about what you can implement locally.
As just one of many cool programs within The Aspen Institute, The Aspen Young Leaders Fellowship (AYLF) catalyzes the power of young people as changemakers by partnering with them, their families, and their communities to take action on their ideas for social solutions.
Deeply rooted in community, AYLF is active in Mississippi/Arkansas Delta; Chicago, Illinois; and Miami, Florida. There are networks of Fellows in St. Louis, Missouri and Newark, New Jersey.
Each year, local cohorts of young people ages 18 – 22 are selected for five year fellowships.
In year one, monthly professionally moderated leadership development seminars focus on exploring shared humanistic values and connecting lived experiences to a deeper analysis of community and society. Fellows apply that learning to design community impact projects.
For the remaining years, AYLF supports Fellows with leadership development programming, career and educational support, and access to a life-long network.
